Hello all im new to this, im Andy, 22 from Leeds. Been fishing for around 6 years now. Basically, i've stopped fishing for a while but want to get back into it again. I had a cheap 11m pole as i prefer pole fishing to rod and reel. I'm looking to spend £400/500 on a good quality pole which is as light as can be. Also a decent seatbox at about £200/300. My 11m pole was far too heavy as it was cheap and i only had a cheap seatbox at the time so im looking to buy good quality gear that will perform and last years. I've always liked Daiwa or Maver but if anyone could link me or suggest a pole and seatbox which meets what im after then that would be perfect! I'm not in a club or anything so it would just be for leisure use but quite frequent so they would have to be good quality. The pole is for general course fish up to carp at lakes and ponds. Also i want the seatbox to have the capability of a pole rest. I don't know too much about them but i used to have to hold my heavy pole at 11m most of the day which was annoying as i didnt have one! Any advice/ideas/suggestions would be brilliant on this! thanks very much! Andy |
