This pond on the A57 at worksop is fishing well for tench with bread or worm as hook bait.

Is this the old quarry on the right hand side just before worksop. I was gonna fish it but was told its about 100ft deep. Can't be doin wi that.

It's on the left across from the scrapyard on the A57. My favourite is at the far end of the fishery in the trees fished up against the water plants (don't know which kind they are), I know it's deep towards the quarry wall just because I was talking to Police divers who were practicing there, they told me of big eels that lived in the cars that were dumped there. I must tell you though it wasn't me fishing it was a trusted friend with no reason to lie, his best fish was 4 1/2 pound but there's a lot bigger than that in there
